Donatienne started her career in Intellectual Property in 1986 as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar in a famous law firm in this field. In 1991, she joined an IP firm with the aim of developing a legal department dealing with trademarks, designs, copyrights, domain names or IP contracts. She took over the responsibility of General Manager of this firm of 45 professionals in 1999.
In 2007, Donatienne joined another IP firm, as Chief Quality and Development Officer and member of the management committee, where she was in charge -among others- of quality, organizational efficiency, human resources, personal and business development.
She left this IP firm in 2014 and created her own consultancy firm.
Donatienne has a strong expertise in the Intellectual Property field, on which she may rely to have a 360° view of clients’ needs, which enables her to build up with them a protection and valorization strategy in the field of creation and innovation, meeting with their best interests.
She assists and advises clients, either SME or multinationals or even organizations active in the non commercial sector, with respect to trademarks, designs, copyrights, domain names, licenses or distribution contracts, not only in the administrative and legal procedures for obtaining IP rights but also with respect to enforcement, defense and valorization of these rights.
She is a ember of various professional associations, former member of the Belgian «Conseil Supérieur de la Propriété Intellectuelle ».
